Background

So far a great variety of classification algorithms have been employed on heart disease database and
high classification accuracies have been reported in the last decades. I am using k nearest neighbour
and random forest algorithms with 83.16 % accuracy and 91.6% accuracy. So far a great variety of
classification algorithms have been employed on Cleveland heart disease database and high
classification accuracies have been reported in the last decades. As can be seen from the related
reference the reached higher classification accuracy was 82% when these tools were used. This section
gives a portrayal of the related subjects like machine learning and its methods with brief descriptions,
data pre-processing, evaluation measurements and description of the dataset used in this research.
