The day I graduated from school and college is the most memorable day of my life. My
eyes become wet whenever I remember those days. It was the day when I parted from
my dear friends. Parting from friends was a painful experience. It has engrossed me in
my memory and I cannot forget it. Those last days at college and school are still fresh in
my mind. A day full of excitement and emotions took place. We, the students of last
year were given a farewell party by our juniors. I never left for college on time. On that
day, I broke the record and reached the college on time. On that special day, we
paused the teaching session to say our goodbyes.
We took many pictures of the library, classroom, canteen, and computer lab. I was
fascinated by all of these things and everything about my institute that day. My feelings
that day were neither joyous nor sad. Our principal made a speech. He thanked us for
being part of that institution and told us how much good time he had with us. That day, I
first time realized that our principal had a special attachment with all of us. In school and
college farewell our principal advised us to be optimistic in life. He asked us to work
hard, to focus on our strengths, to take the initiative with courage and a strong belief in
Allah. He also gave many inspirational examples from daily life. After the speech
session, we had our meal with our honorable teacher. After the meal, It was almost
evening when I left for home with a heavy heart after embracing my best friends with the
rain of tears. I was not feeling well while returning home. I could not sleep that night.
The tears were falling from my eyes when I was trying to sleep amidst the painful fact
that the college period had finished.
