    Case study
    A 70 years old man has RA (rheumatoid arthritis) since 20
    years with hands joints pain with deformity and also chronic
    LBP (low back pain) . He refers to your PT- centre to relieve
    these pains.
    - You have decided after the completed assessment to use
    the Paraffin treatment for his hands (Dip-immersion method)
    and SWD (short wave diathermy; capacitive method) for his
    LBP
    - Describe the application methods and discuss the contra
    indications for these therapy methods.
