Brokerage: Ronald Davis American Artist: b. 1937. Ronald Davis, a.k.a. Ron Davis, was born 1937, in
Santa Monica, California and raised in Cheyenne, Wyoming. His work is associated with Geometric
abstraction, Abstract Illusionism, Lyrical Abstraction, Hard-edge painting, Shaped canvas painting, Color
field painting, and 3D Computer Graphics. His works are held in the collections of the Museum of
Modern Art in New York City, the Tate Gallery, London, the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the
Art Institute of Chicago and he has been awarded a National Endowment for the Arts grant. In recent
years he has become a pioneer in the new idiom of Digital painting and Digital art.
