1. Discuss in detail the Goals set by Conference of Parties 26 (COP26). Describe

and explain COP26 aims, challenges and strategies put forward. Write one page of
your own understanding regarding this conference and how Pakistan can meet
these goals or what step Pakistan is doing to meet these goals already.

2. Recent day’s smog issue is on the rise what steps countries (China, India) has
already taken to overcome this challenge of pollution. What step you would
suggest as a Chemical Engineer student to Governmental bodies that this thing
does not happen again. Write down the step government already taken also.
Note: Write down one step you have taken being a chemical engineer to play a role
toward the goal of clean environment. Or you would like to do starting from now
after being familiar with the knowledge of air pollution.
3. Discuss in detail the Municipal waste water treatment step by step with
diagrams. Challenges with the activated sludge process and their troubleshooting
explain in detail the nitrification process.
4. Discuss Reverse Osmosis process in detail and its application for desalination
and advancement in this field. Membrane synthesis and elaborate RO process with
diagrams.
5. Describe algal bloom, eutrophication their root causes, advantage and
disadvantage, HAB. The role of algae as a plastic replacement and new research
and companies working on this aspect. Elaborate with examples.
