It makes a perfect copy of a chromosome's massive amount of DNA

and then splits the duplicate into two genetically identical daughter

cells. Is it because existing cells divide in order to create new ones.

● Prophase - It condenses chromatin, allowing the chromosomes

to be seen.

● Metaphase - Getting the chromosomes to line up on the

metaphase plate

● Anaphase - The sister chromatids are separated, and the

daughter chromosomes move apart from each other.

● Telophase - Daughters have completed their separation and

have formed two new nuclei.
