My Germany Experience
Ramkumar Sukumar, TU Darmstadt,
Masters - Electronics and Communication
Engineering

My Master’s thesis was in the field of

Car2Car Communication. Besides working
as a research assistant in the Institute of Microwave and
Photonics. Besides working on academics and research, I
was actively engaged with international student
organisations like AIESEC. The years I spent in Germany had
given me a lot of perspectives towards life and many friends
who are like-minded from the other part of the world.
Currently, I am working as a Project Management Associate
for Scientific publishing services, a joint venture with
Springer Publications Germany, which specialises in
technical books and journals worldwide.
Jubin Shah, University of Heidelberg, PhD -
Bioinformatics

My study areas include plant biology and

evolution. I am originally from Mumbai,
India. I have served as the president of
HISA (Heidelberg Indian Students Association) and currently
act as the advisor to the Board members. I have been part
of TedxUniHeidelberg organizing team. I am also trying to
contribute back to India through some non-profit projects
via Centre for International Migration.
