Materials Needed: Worsted weight / #4 yarn Light worsted weight / #3 yarn 3.75 mm hook 2.75 mm hook Fiber fill stuffing Yarn needle, Stitch marker (2) 10 mm safety eyes (6)5 mmsafety eyes White chenille stem Measurements: Mug; 3” tall by 4” wide (including handle) Marshmallow: 1" tall by 1” wide Candy Cane: 3.5" tall Sugar Cookie: 2.5” diameter Notes: -The () at the end of each round states the total number of stitches that should be completed for that round. “Tension is not critical for this project. Insert 8 mm safety eyes between rounds 13 and 14 with 4 stitches in between. With yarn needle stitch on mouth and cheeks. See picture 1. To make the Handle use a 3.75 mm hook and #4 yarn. ch 2, make 5 scin 2nd ch from hook, sc around in each st until you have 18 rnds. Finish off and close opening, attach to mug. See picture 1. Rnd 7: Place hot cocoa in the mug and line up the stitches from round 19 of the mug and round 6 of the hot cocoa. With the yarn used to make the mug, single crochet around the mug working in both loops of both pieces to join the hot cocoa to the mug. Rnd 8: sl st in each st around (36 total sts) Finish off and leave a 12 inch yam tail. With yarn needle insert yarn down to the bottom center of the mug, then back up up from slightly off center bottom, then back down from the same place you came \“ up from. Pull yarn to create an indentation of the bottom center of the mug. See picture 2. <3 Marshmallow: with 2.75 mm hook, and #3 yarn, ch 2 Rnd 1:6 sc in 2nd ch from hook (6 total sts) Rnd 2: 2 sc in each st around (12 total sts) Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rpt from * until end of rnd (18 total sts) Rnd 4: working in BLO, sc in each st around (18 total sts) Rnd 5-9: sc in each st around (18 total sts) Insert 5 mm safety eyes between rounds 5 and 6 with 2stitches in between. With yarn needle stitch on mouth and cheeks. See picture 1. Rnd 10: “working in BLO, sc2tog, sc in next st, rpt from * until end of rnd (12 total sts) Rnd 11: *sc2tog, rpt from * until end of ind (6 total sts) Page 2 Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing. With yarn needle weave in and out of remaining stitches to sew up the bottom opening. Weave in end. &B Sugar Cookie: with 3.75 mm hook, and #4 yarn, ch 2 Rnd 1:7 sc in 2nd ch from hook (7 total sts) Rnd 2:2 sc in each st around (14 total sts) Rnd 3: *2 sc in next st, sc in next st, rpt from * until end of rnd (21 total sts) Rnd 4: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 2 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (28 total sts) Rnd 5: *2 sc in next st, sc in next 3 sts, rpt from * until end of rnd (35 total sts) Finish off and weave in ends. Repeat rounds 1-5 to make a second piece. Do not cut yarn for the second piece. Rnd 6: second cookie piece, single crochet fith the yarn used to make the around both pieces working in both loops of both pieces to join the two cookie pieces together. Finish off and weave in ends. With yarn needle and yarn, stitch on sprinkles. Attach frosting to top of cookie.
