There's one issue that will define the contours of this century

more dramatically than any  other,  and that is the urgent threat
of a changing climate," Barack Obama voiced ahead of the
COP 21Climate Change Summit in Paris. In our quest for
industrialization and development, rippling effects has battered
citizens and the global economy we have worked hard to grow.
Our Earth has been the victim of human's relentless pollution
and destruction.  It will be the host killing the pest, or the pest
doing otherwise and as we all know the pest surely needs its
host. The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC)
in October 2018 issued a troubling report on the impacts of
global warming of 1.5°C would cause far-reaching and
unprecedented changes in all aspects of society. Though world
leaders and international bodies have been pushing for reforms
through accords such as the Kyoto Protocol, and the Paris
Agreement much is still needed. Being a global citizen. I want to
contribute my part to our only home: the Earth. I believe my
inclusion into the Dartmouth community and the resources
available at the Faculty of the Environment Studies Programs
ranging from watersheds in New England to the reaching
golden sands in the Sahara will help in my humanitarian role. At
Dartmouth, with the inclusion of engineering into the research of
the Environment Conservation Program solutions and
innovative ideas will help propel the fight against climate
change and promote for a cleaner environment. With more
research into transportation fuel sources ,which contributes
about 23% of world greenhouse gas emissions, much more
environmentally friendly alternative sources will be discovered.
We have to fight for our Earth because we no  other home.
