Imagine that you set up an experiment for the MTT assay.

For this experiment, you have a drug called X


with a concentration of 100 mM (note that Drug X is dissolved in DMSO, so the stock solution has 100%
DMSO).

Assuming that for each treatment you want to use final drug concentrations of 100 µM, 50 µM, 20 µM,
10 µM and 5 µM, you should have 10 ml of sample with DMSO not exceeding 0.1%. You should evaluate
these different drug concentrations with the same DMSO final concentration in all samples, including
your control (0 µM Drug X).

Please prepare 1 ml stock solutions with an equal amount of DMSO for each drug concentration, and
then calculate the final drug concentrations of 100 µM, 50 µM, 20 µM, 10 µM and 5 µM from these
stocks to the final volume of 10 ml.
