The following are duly approved general and specific rules and criteria of the PIÑA COOK-OFF
I. GENERAL GUIDELINES
1. The Piña Cook-off will be held on the _______, at Robinsons Place Ormoc.
2. All participants must be bona fide students of ACLC College of Ormoc. Please see Part II for deduction on this rule.
3. Each group shall be composed of a minimum of 2 member. Members of the groups may be composed of all
males or females, or any combination thereof. Please see Part II for deduction on this rule.
4. All contestants must be recognized officially by the House they belong to through a pre-registration.
Registration forms should be submitted to the Piña Cook-off Head on or before _______ at the Office of the
Human Resource. Please see Part II for deduction on this rule.
5. All dish MUST BE ADHERE TO THE THEME (Piña Cook-off) please see Part II for deduction on this rule.
6. Only ONE team per station will be allowed Please see Part II for deduction on this rule.
7. No pre-seasoning or pre-cooking is allowed and must be combined, chopped, sliced or diced during the
competition on site including garnishes. Please see Part II for deduction on this rule.
8. Each House must send in details of their recipes including the ingredients and the procedures on or _______
2022 at the Office of the Human Resource. Please see Part II for deduction on this rule.
9. There shall be three judges for the PIÑA COOK-OFF. The decision of the Board of Judges is final and irrevocable.
Should there be a tie; the Chairman of the Board of Judges will make the final decision.
10. The group must be at the contest area on time. Please see Part II for deduction on this rule.
11. All contestants must follow the general and the specific guidelines provided.
12. Mechanics for complaints and/or appeals:
a. Complaints or appeals must only be regarding possible violations of the rules/guidelines and not the
scores given by any of the judges.
b. Complaints or appeals will only be entertained before the announcement of winners.
c. Only a house captain or house master is allowed to forward a complaint or appeal to the judges.
d. After all valid complaints and/or appeals have been entertained, the decision of the judges shall be final

2022 at the Office of the Human resource will automatically mean the house’s non participation.
III. CRITERIA
1. To identify the over-all champion of the Piña Cook-off, the following criteria will be followed:
WINNER - 60 POINTS
1ST PLACE` - 55 POINTS
2ND PLACE - 50 POINTS
3RD PLACE - 45 POINTS
4TH PLACE - 40 POINTS
