Each faction starts with 30 resources. The player with the highest remaining resources at the end of
the campaign wins.

At the end of each game the player that wins receives 1d6 resources, the player that loses receives
1d3 resources. The player who had the lower warband power level at the start of the game receives
1d6 additional resources.

A player can spend their resources in one of the following ways:

 A player may spend 2 resources to reroll 1 die for determining the resource amount they gain
at the end of the game. This must be decided directly after the die roll.
 A player may spend 2 resources to mark 1 non character unit for greatness for the next game.
 A player can spend 6 resources to roll on the Retinue Followers Table
 A player can spend 8 resources to roll on the Leader Follower Table
 A player can spend 10 resources to roll on the Vehicle Follower table
 A player can spend 5 resources to change a detachment type or add a detachment.
 A player can spend 5 resources to change the character who is their warlord. The existing
warlord loses all warlord traits and relics but keeps all honors. The new warlord may select a
warlord trait and relic however starts with no honors.

Players can only roll on a follower table if the Power rating of their warband is less than the number
of resources they have. (For example if player 1 has a warband with a power rating of 18 and 30
resources the player chooses to spend 10 points to roll on the vehicle table dropping their resources
to 20. They roll and receive a ghost ark worth 8 power, this takes their power level to 26. At the end of
the next game they gain 3 more resources (23 total) and want to roll on the retinue table, however,
because the PR is 26 and their resources is only 23 they can not. The player will have to wait till they
have 27 or more resources total before they can add to their warband.)

Players can not roll on the same table twice in a row. If player A rolled on the vehicle follower last
game they can not roll on that table this game.

The max Power rating allowed for any warband is 75PR If a player rolls on a unit that would put them
over the limit they can choose to dismiss units already in the warband until they would no longer be
over the limit and take the new unit.
Unit Advancement

At the end of each battle each unit gains 1d6 + 1 exp for each of the following (max 1d6+3)

 Survived till the end of the battle

 Killed an enemy unit
 Killed the enemy warlord
 Killed a vehicle
 Holds an objective

If a unit was marked for greatness double the exp they gained excluding dice roll (ie 1d6+6 max)).

noncharacter units may roll on the honors table and Characters units may roll on the Boon reward table

for each level they obtain:

 8exp = Veteran (1)

 16 exp = Elite (2)
 32 exp = Heroic (4)
 64 exp = Legendary (8)

Honors Table

1 2 3
1 Re-roll Charge + Advance Unmodified 6 on wound add 1 to dmg Reroll 1 to hit s
(shooting) (shooting)
2 6+ FNP Reroll 1 to hit s (melee) -1 enemy leadership 3”
aura
3 Shoot and Charge after +1 atk and +1 str on turn they charged +1 to invuln save (max
fallback 4++, no invuln becomes
6++)

Battle Scars

At the end of each game roll 1d6 for each unit that was slain. On a 1 or 2 that unit receives a battle scar.
(roll on the battle scar table to determine impact)

If a unit has more than 2+<level> active battle scars then that unit is slain (for example a Heroic unit
could have 6 (2+4) battle scars before it would need to be replaced. Replace it with a new unit with the
exact same make up of models. It has 0 exp and 0 honors.

Battle scars can be removed in 1 of the following ways:

 The play spends 2 resources to remove a battle scar (1 per game).

 The unit can be sacrificed to replace it with a new unit (it starts with 0 exp and honors)
 If a unit slays the opposing teams warlord it loses 1 battle scar(1 per game).
