1916. Hohne was one of the original members of Jasta 2. He survived
the war with a total of six confirmed victories.

The majority of Albatros D.ls, lis and Ills saw service with the fuselage left in
natural plywood. Wings and horizontal tail surfaces varied between batches.
Early batches generally had a two colour scheme of green and brown. This
developed into light green, green and brown schemes as illustrated here.

Albatros 0.111 2061/16 flown by Leutnant Hans Fritzsche of Jasta 29. Note
that the number '4' is repeated on the underside of the fuselage
Albatros 0.111, 2219/16 July 1917. This aircraft was flown by Leut. Gerhard
Bassenge of Jasta Boelcke. Gerhard Bassenge would later become a
General in the Luflwaffe.

Pemet, who was killed in action on September 5th 1917 was the Stepson

Albatros D.lll overpainted in what is thought to have been black. This was
the personal aircraft of Leut. Joachim von Bertrab of Jasta 30. Note the
centrally mounted radiator. Bertrab was shot down by Mick Mannock on 12
August 1917 after a 'five-minute' dogfight
Another captured 0.111, 02015117 was flown by Georg Simon of Jasta 11 when it
was forced down on June 14th 1917. This aircraft was overpainted in red with a

A line-up of late war OAW Albatroses assigned to
Jasta 50. 0.2382/17 belonged to Frilz Liesa, while
