Dear Marleen,

My name is Yaiza Lopez and I would like to express my interest in applying for the Receptionist
position at Mercure Hotel. I’m truly excited to continue growing and developing my skills in The
Netherlands, and I believe that Mercure is the company where I can get way ahead to reach my
goals.

I have now been working for years in previous hotels and customer service roles before moving to
The Netherlands. My best and worst experience was in Australia last year, as I started working as
receptionist in a great hotel, but couldn’t continue due to the Covid 19, which is the sad part of the
story. I feel like this is the opportunity I have been looking for and are ready to go for it. I speak
Spanish, Catalan, English, a little bit of Frenchand on my way to learn Dutch which is my next
challenge.

To continue working as a receptionist is an opportunity I would love to dedicate myself too, and I
know that I will be able to contribute to the company nothing but positive aspects. Considering my
experience and my willingness to success, I hope to be given a chance to exceed your expectations.
