SPECIFICATIONS FLYWHEEL HOUSING BORE NOTE: Write the dal naicator measurements with their positive (+) {and negative (~) notatlon (signs). This notation in necessary for ‘making the calculations in the chart correctly. 1. Fasten the dal indicator to the fywhee! so the anvil of then ‘ator will touch the flywheel housing bore. With the dial ina ator in position at (adjust the dial indicator to "0" (zero) Push the crankshaft up against the top bearing. Write the measurement for bearing clearance on line 1m column (C). 2. Divide the measurement trom Step 1 by 2 Write this number fontine 1 in columns (B} & (0) 3 Turn the crankshaft to put the dial indicator at (A). Adjust the ial ineator to "0" (2er0). Turn the crankshaft counterclockwise to put the dal incheator at (8), Whte the measurement m he chart, 5. Turn the crankshalt counterclockwise to put the dial indicator at (C), Write the measurement in the char 6.
