How does social media affect


the mental health of teens?

Social Media very negatively impact the mental health of teens. For
example, spending too much time on social media can cause:

Insomnia Increased bullying


(cyberbylling)

Social Isolation Depression

FOMO (Fear Of Missing Anxiety


Out)

Negative body image Suicide/Suicidal


and low self esteem thoughts

What can we do to limit these


negative effects?

There are a lot of simple things we can do to stop social


media from impact our mental health, such as:

Sleep with your Unfollow people who
