SCIENCE – BIOLOGY ACTIVITY

NAME OF THE ACTIVITY - INSULIN (JELLO)

MATERIALS REQUIRED – Water, a plastic container, red

and green food colour and 250gm of gelatin powder.
PROCEDURE – First take a container and boil 250 ml of
water then add 250 gm of gelatin powder and green food
colour let it dissolve the powder. Then pour the liquid in
a plastic container let it cool down a minute then
refrigerate it until it becomes like jelly like insulin and
then cut them in the shape of circle then take another
container pour 250 ml of tap water and red food colour.
Add the jellys in the red liqiud which is like blood and
then leave it 2 hours.

OBSERVATION – After 2 hours the jellys are in same

shape and somewhat fluffy.
