Philippians 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me,

do: and the

God of peace shall be with you.

What matters to the world today? What are we so concerned nowadays?

How about you? What matters to you today?

What Matters?

Philippians 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the
God of peace shall be with you
James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.
Matthew 7:24 Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto
a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

It is a Matter Of Priority

Isaiah 55:6 Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near:

Matthew 6
33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
34
Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient
unto the day is the evil thereof.

Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Colossians 3:1-2
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of
God.
2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

It Is A Matter Of Attitude

Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Faith is trusting, depending and acting on God’s word

2 Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then
were all dead:

2 Corinthians 8:8 I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the
sincerity of your love.

2 Corinthians 8:24 Wherefore shew ye to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love, and of our
boasting on your behalf.
2 Corinthians 8 King James Version (KJV)
8 Moreover, brethren, we do you to wit of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;

How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the
riches of their liberality.

For to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;

Praying us with much intreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering
to the saints.

And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.

The Macedonian believers acted on the grace of God. Their action is attitude of generosity.

It Is A Matter Of Choice

Isaiah 65:12 because when I called, ye did not answer; when I spake, ye did not hear; but did evil before mine
eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.

Isaiah 66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called,
none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I
delighted not.

Proverbs 1
24
Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
25
But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
26
I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
27
When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish
cometh upon you.
28
Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:
29
For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the Lord:
30
They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.
31
Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.
32
For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.
33
But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

Deuteronomy 11
26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
27 A blessing, if ye obey the commandments of the Lord your God, which I command you this day:
28 And a curse, if ye will not obey the commandments of the Lord your God,

Joshua 24:15And if it seem evil unto you to serve the Lord, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether
the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose
land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.

Psalm 65:4 Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in
thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.

1 Kings 18:21 And Elijah came unto all the people, and said, How long halt ye between two opinions? if the
Lord be God, follow him: but if Baal, then follow him. And the people answered him not a word.
