Traditional face to face classroom promotes a better learning environment

compared to online classes because students usually feel more comfortable and learn more
easily in a familiar, traditional classroom situation. This is because all students normally
attend face to face classroom before the COVID-19 pandemic occur. Thus, students tend to
get more good results with traditional face to face learning environment compared to online
classes. This could be shown when they can access more information and richer
understanding through teacher and other students body languages and voice. Meanwhile,
when online classes, students normally just sit in front of their laptop and turn off camera
and microphone. This case can make students feel unmotivated to learn and it makes they
think that online classes is boring. In the worst scenario, they might fall asleep and did not
understand what they are learning. Even some research shows that teachers believe the
high-tech world is hurting students’ attention spans and ability to learn. Other than that,
students also able to concentrate harder on their learning as they are comfortable when it is
traditional face to face classroom. This is because teachers can use different teaching
method to get them to focus on their studies. Moreover, they can use this method for
improving students to teach more effectively. Thus, students able to strive on their studies
better than when it is online learning as teacher cannot see whether their students
understand or not. With all being said, it is true that traditional face to face classroom
promotes a better learning environment compared to online classes because students
usually feel more comfortable and learn more easily in a familiar, traditional classroom
situation.

There’s also the issue of teaching. Some research shows that teachers believe the high-tech
world is hurting students’ attention spans and ability to learn. (Koba, M., Apr. 2015)
