Washington, D.C. 20515
Dear Chairman Thompson,
| request the Select Committee investigating the events at the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021,
identify the time and manner in which Members of the House of Representatives may review the
testimony taken by the committee.
House rules and regulations clearly permit all House Members to attend depositions conducted
by the committee." Additionally, all committee materials including deposition records and
transcripts are the property of the whole House, entitling Members to their review.? Since
Members have not thus far been notified of the time and date of the completed depositions and
have therefore not attended, accommodations should be made for Members to review the
transcripts or electronic records,
Given that the reputations of multiple Members of Congress are being subjected to the drips and
drabs of testimony being selectively released to the media, I look forward to this accommodation
being made with haste.
Sincerely,
hoe
Andy Biggs
