IV Answer the following:-
1) If all the leaves of a plant were arranged one above the other
like a stack of books then the plant would not be able to prepare
food as all the leaves would not receive enough sunlight.
2) Interdependence between plants and animals are seen when
i. Animals breathe out carbon-dioxide. This is used by the plants during
photosynthesis.
ii. The food prepared by the plants is eaten by many kinds of animals.
iii. Animals help the plants to disperse their seeds.
iv. Plants are home to many animals.

V Re-arrange:-
1. An insect attracted by the nectar in the pitcher visits a pitcher plant.
2. When the insect touches the hair like structures in the pitcher it triggers
the lid to close.
3. The insect gets captured in the pitcher.
4. The digestive juice in the pitcher digests the insect and the nutrients are
used by the pitcher plant.
