Every Christmas in the UK, people go to the theatre to see a pantomime.
A pantomime is a play about a fairy tale. Popular stories are Aladdin, the boy
with the magic lamp, and Jack and the Beanstalk.
My favourite pantomime is Cinderella. Cinderella is the story of
a young girl. She lives with her stepmother and her stepsisters.
She has to do all of the jobs in the house.
One day, Prince Charming has a big party and he invites
everyone. Cinderella’s stepmother says she can’t go but her Fairy
Godmother comes and gives her a beautiful dress so she can go.
Cinderella meets Prince Charming and they fall in love. At 12 o’clock,
Cinderella has to leave. She runs away and leaves her shoe behind.
Prince Charming finds the shoe and looks for Cinderella.
I’m not going to tell you the end – you will have to go and see it!
