This individual assignment is based on the information gained from all
chapters and class discussions.

Assignment: Create a two-to-three-page (800 to 1000 words) student

newsletter on the topic: “fighting fake news in 2022”

• You must create an original design for the newsletter (no PowerPoint will be
accepted). If you choose a template from word document, you should personalize it
to match your idea.
• You can divide the newsletter into sections if it suits you (tech section, 10 steps to
take… etc.).
• Feel free to use graphs and other visuals (if you cite the source).
• You can interview a fellow student if you think they will add value to the newsletter.
• Every information should be paraphrased, and a reference list should be provided at
the end of the newsletter (APA style).
• Save the Newsletter as a PDF and upload it in the TurnItIn link.

Note: Do not upload this template as an answer to TurnItIn. Doing so will result in – 10 points
deduction.
