Priority Management Mental Model - This is how I organize

everything in my life. I have a separate one of these filled
out for the Physical, Intellectual, Social and Artistic parts of
my life (PISA).

A lot of people like this so I want to expand with a few tips

on *how* to use it effectively, as well as an example.

1. Start with Mission - A Mission is essentially a goal that

never ends.

An example of a Physical Mission: "To maintain elite level

health, athleticism and physical appearance and age
gracefully without major degradation of body or mind"

2. Work your way down in time, starting w/ Visions

Visions are statements of being. Ask yourself "What do you

want your life to look like in X Yrs?"
Ex : 20 yr vision (Age 47) - I am 5'11 185-190 lbs 8% - 12%
body fat (be specific)

Mission = 1 statement, Vision = many items

3. Goals are more specific actionable statements that often

have a definitive "success/failure" outcome.

Ex: 1 Yr Goal - Gain 10 lbs of Muscle

4. Make sure each level builds on itself. If you have a 1

Year Goal there should be a Quarterly Goal that matches it
& so on

Ex: 1 Yr Goal - Gain 10 lbs of muscle

Quarterly Goal - Gain 2.5 lbs of muscle
Monthly Goal - Gain 1 lb of muscle

5. To Do's are the same, specific actionable statements of

what you need To Do in order to accomplish 1 Mo Goal. It
should match

Monthly Goal - Gain 1 lb of muscle

Weekly To Do - Train 5x using progressive overload, Eat at
Surplus
Daily - Train Chest, Eat 4 Meals +200 G protein

What this does it *frees you from having to think about the
future*

Bc you thought this out in advance you *know* that all you
have to do is consistently hit daily & weekly To Do's & you
will accomplish monthly goal, hit all monthly goals & you'll
accomplish quarterly etc
6. Revisit & Revise on a regular basis

Life is not static, neither is this framework, revisit all levels

and review on a regular basis. Yearly (Top level of Goals
framework) is a good place to start. Can do it more often if
you want.

If you find this framework useful I write occasional E-Mail's

full of actionable advice. You can sign up here
