sound judgment about a candidate’s competency

1. Secure a copy of the competency standard.

2. Determine the method of assessment indicated in the evidence guide.
3. Analyze the assessment criteria to determine how evidences are to be
gathered.
4. Identify the specific method of assessment to be used for the evidences to be
collected.
