Homecoming is THIS WEEK, September 27-October 1!

Show your Eagle Pride by participating in dress-up days
throughout the week. Remember that the dress code still
applies, including hats!
Monday: Jersey Day
Tuesday: Hawaiian Day
Wednesday: USA Day
Thursday: BOTC and Class Color Day! Seniors-black,
juniors-white, sophomores-blue, freshmen-orange
Friday: Purple and White!
If you are planning to attend the Homecoming Dance next Friday, October 1,
and would like to bring someone who attends a high school that is different
from NUHS, you can now sign up your guest in the office. You have until
Wednesday, September 29 to do so!

Thank you for continuing to support our New Ulm Eagles sports teams!!!!
A quick reminder to use appropriate language, no whiteboards and no artificial
noisemakers. Also, be sure to use appropriate language, be respectful of our officials
and opponents as well as our own fellow classmates.
Please note: if any of these behavior expectations are broken, there will be no warning,
you will be asked to leave.

Sign ups for BOTC are underway! Please see your class advisor, listed
below, to sign up for your desired events. FIRST COME FIRST SERVED!
Sign ups will be before and after school. If you would like to sign up for
more than one event, you will need to wait until next Monday to do so.
Consider participating to help your class in BOTC!

JOI Club will be having a brief meeting on Monday, September 27 @ 3:00 in
Room 230 (Mrs. Cowing's room). The JOI Club activities look great on college
and scholarship applications and are worthwhile! Anyone interested in doing
activities that support people in our school and community is invited to attend to
hear what the club is about and possibly sign up for upcoming events!

Offseason Lifting/Training
The high school weight room is open on Tuesdays and Thursdays after school from
3:00-4:00PM. This time slot is available to any students and off-season student-athletes
that are interested in training after school. Programming and coaching is provided as
needed. Any questions regarding this opportunity can be directed to Mr. Lieser (office
141B; dlieser@newulm.k12.mn.us).

FFA NEWS: 

FFA Highway Clean-up

Wednesday, September 29th from 3 - 5pm. Meet at 3:00 in room 135. We will travel
to the highway and then back to school for pizza when we are done.

FFA Float in the Homecoming Parade

Friday, October 1. Meet at school at 3:15 pm for the parade at 4:00. Let Brandt or
Nelson know if you want to help decorate the floats!

FFA Greenhand Day

Friday, October 8th during the school day. All 9th grade members are invited to go
and meet FFA members from our region for a day of fun and learning. Sign up with
Brandt or Nelson.
