Essentials of Biostatistics in Public Health

This Excel workbook contains 2 worksheets to conduct analysis of variance (ANOVA) tests of hypothesis to test the equality of
independent means using the formulas and procedures outlined in Chapter 7 of Essentials of Biostatistics in Public Health.

For each analysis, either raw data (i.e. data measured on each participant in the study sample(s)) or summary data (e.g., samp
size, sample mean and sample standard deviation) can be entered into the worksheet to conduct the ANOVA test. The
worksheets for each analysis are described below.
