Abstract

This study sains to determine students’ science process skills and student learning
outcomes in the application of inqiry learning models in high school 1 lebong. This research was
carried out in January to February 2020. This type of research is experimental research. With non
randomized control group pretest-postest research design. The sample in this study amounted to 60
students who were divided into 2 classes namely the exsperimental and control classes. After the t-
test was done, it was obtained the value of p-value statistics 0,000 which means it was smaller than
0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). So the conclusion is H a accepted and Ho rejected means thet there is a
significance of the science process skills scores of the exsperimental class students who use inqury
models to the science process skills of students and the control class using conventional learning
methods. Obtained the average value of overall student learning outcomes post-test mean
exsperimental class 82,83 and 62,67 control class. After that t-test was performed t-test results
obtained sig (2- tailed) of 0,000 smaller than 0,05 and t count 10,913 and t table means t count is
greater than t table (10,913) this means that there is an influence of student learning outcomes in
learning material coordination system between the exsperimental class and the control class that
uses different learning models in their implementation.
