What do you think is the importance of having ERPM on Work at Home setup?
- Well, we learn in our past lesson how ERP give a company competitiveness due to its
function, having a centralized system means all department have its access to one
database. That’s what important to uniform to avoid any risk might happen, and how
its important to work at home setup? of course an employee must have an access to
the data that must needed, to do the task. Employee like an sales, payroll, general
accountant or other to do with the , files ,other documents, other recording, and
transaction. They need those so to become easy for them ERPM are the solution for
quick process of transactions or other activity. So, the employee don’t needed to ask
for every departments and we can avoid any risk with that. So even though work from
home to avoid expenses in rent, a business could be competitive in an industry and
continue its transaction.

- Mostly in pandemic many works from home occurs, and ERPM would be an
advantage to other companies to be still in industry and continuing business activity.
Still many businesses have its employee do work from home because it possible
because of ERPM where they can access data whether from home or other place like
CEO’s whose travels around.
How imposing lockdown does affect the business?
- It affects business operation, and transaction and force to stop because of lockdown.
It hindrance the production of the business. Like restaurants, fast foods, malls, and
other with people contacts to avoid virus spreading. This lockdown made an
economic shock to every small business and made it stop. it caused financial fragility
because of the expenses that made. That’s why in survey many small businesses
affected. Only large company are still can hold expenses and can hold the continuity
of the operation.
- After imposing lockdown employee are no longer available to go to work. Because of
safety protocols, we’re big company can afford to do that. Online shopping become
the trend also the grab and other delivery is also become trend.
- Through delivery service small business execute their business through the help of
delivery service via grab and lalamove.

How the pandemic affects the current economy?

 - Because of the pandemic outbreak not only the health workers and front liners are
affected, but it affects also the economic and financial markets it’s because of
unemployment, lower income, disruption of transportation, service and
manufacturing. This is the consequence of pandemic and everyone is on lockdown. In
pandemic we faced slow in productivity of the manufacturing company, force close
of business because there’s no employee are allowed outside, no transportation
because the disease can be transfer by contact. There’s no much consumer, no enough
supply because of hoarders, and the rate of premature death increase. Pandemic badly
affect the economy and daily live of vendors and small time business or the starting
business in the country. And also the other employee who work for restaurants and
office affected because of company lessen their employee because of financial
fragility cause of the pandemic.

Is business who have ERPM more effective in Office based or Work from Home?
- I think it advantages both situation on actual office and work from home. Even the
CEO who go to many places. ERPM is a centralized database because of this every
department and authorize employee can access to the database and it prohibits any
risk or duplication of data, in terms of the effectivity of the ERPM is helps you to
access the data even within or without the company, as long as you have the access
there’s no problem with that. ERPM is for you to access quickly to important data
within the transaction and operation of the company. So, for me I don’t see any
problem if you’re an employee that work from home and from the office because you
can get the data even, you’re not in the actual office. Because through ERP you can
check out yourself the data within the company, But I think the advantage on office
based using ERP is you check the actual file or the legal papers on that for you to
check the truthfulness of the record on database.
