Mastering the SAQ technique is the most underrated skill a student in VCE can learn.

Key points when answering SAQS”

1) Have a fundamental statement. (FS)
- This statement should come first
- It should set the tone and scene for the entire SAQ response

2) The words should be put in logical order and always write it in dot point form.

Things to note from the above statement:

1) The use of dot points

- Shows relevant points and logical thoughts in a clear manner.
- Easily reasonable/ appealing to the reacder

Tips for practicing the SAQ technique

1) Practice anotationg and using a glossary to find the key words within the question
2) Focus on developing the skills at a time and using your own SAQs, both part or bad
and analyse these features as to what makes them to fall into either the good or bad
category.
