Early life!

Revanth (Ray) Reddy Nedurumalli (born September 21, 2000), known professionally as Dicey Ray, is an
American rapper, basketball player, entrepreneur and cannabis connoisseur from Baltimore, Maryland.
Dicey Ray was born in Richmond, Virginia, United States. His parents were both born in India and came
to the US seeking a better life.

Growing up, Dicey Ray was a rebellious kid whose curiosity got him in constant trouble. From pulling the
fire alarm at an apartment complex with 600 units to having two guards escort him back to the bus after
touching the Liberty Bell on a school field trip, he just couldn’t seem to ignore that little voice in his
head.

School Life!

He gravitated towards sports early because it helped him burn off energy and gave him a release from
the situations he was having to deal with as a kid. He fell in love with the game of basketball thanks to
his idol, Kobe Bryant. Early mornings and late nights in the gym helped him stay out of trouble for the
most part. He had big aspirations and felt like He was setting an example for his brother, cousins and all
the other brown kids out there in the world. He was playing pick-up with grown men in middle school
and dunking on people before he turned sixteen. Something inside him told him He was destined for
greatness.

Sports Life!

In High school, he played four sports (track, tennis, football & basketball) in two years at his local high
school, Howard High, before getting recruited to Glenelg Country, to play basketball in the MIAA A
conference. After earning a starting spot to play along multiple Division one recruits and a Fiba U19
World champion, he couldn’t stay out of trouble and got kicked out of his first private school. He played
with five different AAU teams that summer, primarily Charm City Crusaders and Maryland 3D.

Injuries!

He had a scary fall at a tournament in New Jersey while playing with the Crusaders. He was rushed to
Jersey Shore Trauma where he suffered complete memory loss for over six hours and had a severe
concussion and whiplash injury in his neck and spine. After a summer of rehab and working on his game
with a chip on his shoulder, he was choosing between Archbishop Carroll (WCAC) or Arundel Christain
(CBAA).

Come back!

His first game after his injury, he carried his new team, the Arundel Christain Warriors to a victory over
the Maryland state champions from a few years back, leading all scorers with 34 points, shooting 8/11
for three-point range. For the rest of the year he continued to dominate with multiple thirty-point
performances over top 25 teams in Maryland and was nominated for Conference Player of the year. He
went on to play AAU that summer with Team Takeover and committed to IMG Academy for a prep year
in the fall when he wasn’t NCAA eligible due to some courses, he took at Arundel Christain School not
being NCAA certified courses.

More injuries!

Dicey Ray went to IMG Academy with professional aspirations, until a gruesome leg injury (where he
tore his ACL, sprained his MCL, LCL, PCL bruised his femur, tibia, femur and tore the back of his
meniscus) took him away from the game early in the season after racking up a 14 point 14 rebound
double double against the defending Florida 1A champions under Coach Mahoney. Dicey Ray took a
redshirt year at a local college his freshmen year to rehab his injury in hopes of transferring.

Risk-taking and Successful Investor!

His Sophomore year he got into investing and flipped roughly $2,000 into over $25,000 in a couple weeks
while in school. He borrowed some money from family and flipped it into over $100,000 in a matter of
months before losing a majority of it due to greed and a hunger for more.

And now, the present Dicey!

After battling constant injuries, playing through a broken finger, herniated disc and dealing with the
pandemic, he decided to make music while he waited for his body to heal. He ended up making a whole
song, drove to New York to record it and came back all during finals week. He knew school was a dead
end for him and was only in school so he could play basketball. Dicey Ray walked away from school after
earning a 4.0 GPA his sophomore year to pursue his music career and explore all that life has to offer.
