TASK
1. Do you prefer to work in a team or independently? Why?

In this day and age, each individual possesses their own interest and strengths so
personal development skills have been crucial for many of us since a competitive job
market. Meanwhile, teamwork is considered as one of key factors for other people that
boost their work productivity.
First, the notion of suggesting creative ideas is welcomed in team brainstorming
environment. Compared to those who work autonomously and have a direct
responsibility of idea generation, they tend to present the safer and less uncommon
results to their superior that keep them not being able to think out-side the box.
Moreover, the different ages, backgrounds, skill sets and experience levels of a diverse
group of people can build unique perspectives helping in creating optimal solutions.

Second, teamwork also acts as opportunity for professional development and learning.
Since cooperating as a team, there are a larger amount of errors and creativities that
members could possibly make, compared to when working individually. It is possible
to learn from my partners’ experience and mistakes that enable my own skills and
capacities to grow.
Last, if a challenge is handled individually, I am probably at risk of becoming
overwhelmed and fail to face it, leading to procrastination. A team environment can
serve as a great support mechanism as a driving force behind for all my members to
get their work done faster and more productive. This means that this helpful support
can discourage me and my team from procrastinating.
In conclusion, despite the fact that working independently helps each individual with
personal skill growth, team work assists me to get my work done more productively.
Would you prefer a well-paid job where you are under pressure or a more
relaxed job with less remuneration?

On the one hand, In the case of being early in my career path I would gravitate
towards high-paying jobs with great stress. By contrast, happiness is still one of my
priorities over anything else when
First, If I was at the stage of being fresh and unpracticed, I would expect success
rather than money. Well-paid job with high stress expects me to be dealing with
challenging and strenuous tasks. In some cases, I am perceived as a person who thrive
on pressure, meaning that the more pressure I am put, the more success I will gain. In
fact, a great deal of people especially the young like me are likely to confront these
ones, which could possibly polish up my skills at work, in order to accumulate
experience as well as having advancement.

Second, a high-paying job may be not bringing you pressure at work but at home. It’s
overwhelming for my family having many children or the elderly. Being one of
members provide income in my family, I even have a few long-term health problems
regarding monthly domestic bills or payments. Paying bills has always taken priority
over any other matters for my family. To enjoy the carefree life for afterwards, I am
compelled to toil my life first.

On the other hand, my ultimate goal of life is happiness. Sometimes I make it to the
high positions only to realize that I no longer really enjoy what I am doing even with
that high salary since I have gone through those stressful but well-paid jobs for too
long and gained some certain successes in work. Since this mundane repetition occurs,
I do my work day by day as if I have to suffer a punishment. I could probably struggle
with serious anxiety which may be bad enough that you need to cut back for health. In
other words, I would choose a less stressful job with lower pay If I was at a period of
work stability.

In conclusion, there are 4 criteria to take into consideration to decide either well-paid
jobs with high-stress or low-paid ones with lower stress:
 What stage of life are you at?
 How is your work experience?
 What kinds of those job do your personalities match?
 How are your financial conditions?
