Basic commands in Switch/Router

There are main 3 types of modes in Switch/Router i.e

 User Mode
 Privilege Mode
 Global Configuration Mode

 By default you are in user mode.

 enable(en) command helps you to go to Privilege mode.

 configure terminal(conf t) command helps you to go to

configuration Mode.

 end command to go back to Privilege mode from configuration

Mode.

 disable command to go back to user mode from privilege mode.

 exit command to exit from Switch / Router.

 ? -> To see available commands

 ? en -> show those commands that starts with en

 ? conf -> show those commands that starts with con
