1. If I am going to make an artwork, I will create and apply the Planting Rice by Fernando
Amorsolo because this painting represents how they plant the rice and the country food we
always have. The rice is important for the Filipinos, this painting shows how the farmers serve
our rice for us to eat.

2. The trade with China was the beginning of a major influence and contribution within the
FIlipino culture. One major influence that the Chinese contributed within the culture was
culinary arts. Some culinary techniques that the Filipinos were taught include sauteed dishes,
rice cakes and noodle dishes like pancits.

3. Kabuki is a style of traditional Japanese theater that includes music, dance, and drama. This
makeup is applied heavily to create a brightly painted mask that uses colors in symbolic ways to
indicate the age, gender, and class of each character, as well as their moods and personalities.
While Peking opera actor is painting his face before going on stage. In traditional Peking Opera,
each of the historical characters portrayed in the performance has its own unique design
painted on the face of the actor.
