What you need to know about this pattern

 The approximate size of Dolly, the little grey tabby kitten is about 3.5 inch / 9 cm.

(it's depend on the yarn and the crochet hook that you use)
 Every parts of the pattern are crocheted in continuous rounds. You should place a stitch
marker in the last stitch of each round or use different color yarn instead.
 Crochet every stitches tightly to avoid the small hole.
 Use ‘invisible decrease’ instead ‘normal decrease’ to make your doll more neat.
 Stuff the head and the body part firmly, the kitten will be a cute chubby one.

3. INNER EAR
2.25 mm. crochet hook

Make 2 inner ears and use light pink yarn


to make 2 chains.
Rnd 1: Start in the 2nd chain from hook,
then crochet [(sc 1, hdc 1, sc 1)
in same st] (3)
Fasten off and weave in the yarn end.
 Horizontal circumference is 18.5 cm.
 Vertical circumference is 18 cm.
(If you use same weight yarn and
crochet hook size as my recommended)

2. EAR
2.5 mm. crochet hook

Make 2 ears, begin with light grey yarn.

4. BACK LEGS

8. HOW TO ASSEMBLE & EMBROIDERY


1. FACE:
- Eyes: Mark point A, B, C, D (Pic 8.1) and thread a needle with light grey color yarn and insert it
from under the chin, bring it out at [A] (Pic 8.2), push the needle back in at [B] and out
at [C] (Pic 8.3), push the needle back again in at [D] and bring it out at the beginning
point. (Pic 8.4) Pull tight the yarn to make the indentation for the eye and knot the yarn.
The space between two eyes is 9 stitches. (Pic 8.5)

- Eyelashes: Thread a needle with dark brown thread and insert it from under the chin, bring it
out at [E], push the needle back in at [F] and out at [G], push the needle back again
in at [H] and bring it out at the beginning point. (Pic 8.6 – 8.8)

- White eye: Place 7 mm eye beads on the eye indentation and sew the white of the eyes with
white yarn. (Pic 8.9 – 8.10)

- Nose: Sew the nose with pink thread between rounds 8.11

the eyes) and apart from each eyes 4 stitches.
Embroider the nose about 5 times using
a horizontal line. Additionally, make a vertical line
from the middle of the nose 2 rounds down.

- Ears: Sew the ears on rounds 4 to 9 (6 rnds) and apart from the eye 5 sts. (Pic 8.12 – 8.14)

- Inner ears: Glue the inner ears

2. BODY: Make the bottom indentation for standing easier. Thread a needle with light grey color
yarn and insert it from back of the body, bring it out at [A], push the needle back in
at [B] and out at [C], push the needle back again in at [B] and bring it out at the
beginning point. Pull tight the yarn to make the indentation for the bottom and knot

3. BACK LEGS: Sew the back legs on round 6 (same round as the front legs) and apart from
the front legs 1 stitch. (Pic 8.22 – 8.24)

4. HEAD STRIPES: Make 3 head stripes and use dark grey yarn make 22 chains. Fasten off and
leave a long tail for sewing. Sew stripes on top of kitten’s head using the needle.
Place 1st stripe on center of the head and located between rounds 8 and 9 at
front and back of head. Place 2nd stripe apart from 1st stripe 1 stitch at front
and 2 stitches at back. Place 3rd stripe same as the 2nd stripe but in the
contrary direction. (Pic 8.25 – 8.32)

5. BODY STRIPE: Use dark grey yarn make 12 chains. Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Place the stripe along the red dotted line between rounds 6 and 16.

6. HOW TO TIE A SASH BOW:
Use pink yarn to make 65 chains. Fasten off and weave in the yarn end. (Pic 8.35 – 8.46)

7. TAIL: Bend the ends of the soft wire and glue it. Insert the soft wire into the tail and cut off the
