Communal Unity (Bayanihan) and Resilient (Matatag)

I am Filipino, daughter of an old rich heritage

I am known for my capacity to bleed and stand with courage
I appreciate my fellow Filipinos work
It doesn’t need any other word

We are known for helping one another in times of need

or even in things that requires a little heed
They usually depicts bayanihan by carrying a hut
Only us in the world, can do simply as that

Communal unity is presented in times of calamity

when brothers and sisters in race, reconnects for unity
That after every disastrous storms and quakes
There are people who are willing to share their faith

Filipinos are known to be pliant as bamboo

They can bounce back after a strong wind pass through
They dwell rarely on their defeat
instead, they humbly stands on their own feet

Being matatag is a Filipino’s unique trait

That makes the fallen one, stands up straight
No challenges he cannot conquer
because to the Creator, they surrender
