I AM HERE
When everything seems to be vague
and everything begins to fade
When I said something and struggle to remember
Do not panic, do not worry, no need to be scare
I am here, your teacher, your constant reminder

When something relevant is out of your hind

And you have no clue and nowhere to find
When you want to say something at the tip of your tongue
Do not stammer, do not smirk, and don’t make a bang
I am here, your teacher, treat me as your gang

When nothing seems to be a center of your attraction

And you feel you are out of your destination
When you think no one would really care
Do not be afraid; do not lose your stare
I am here, your teacher, I can guide you to anywhere

The poem I wrote above is my interpretation on how a learner with difficulty remembering or paying
attention would likely feel. I would appreciate and motivate them that whatever they are going through
or feeling for a moment would not necessarily mean that they are incapable of doing something. They
are also abled individuals with certain needs to be address. These needs are not hindrance to their
growth but a possible path for their greatness. If they are frustrated with what they are experiencing, I
will let them go to the process of bargaining. But after that episode, I will always let them know that
they are not alone and they are still capable of making positive change. As a future teacher, with the
help of their parents and support from the community, they can realize the realm of their potentials.
