Input Devices
All things that are given to a machine to work are called input
devices.
Some of the input devices are :
1. Keyboard :
The keyboard has many buttons called keys. Each key has a letter,
number, word or a symbol marked on it. The pressing of keys on a
keyboard to write on a computer is called typing.

2. Mouse :
Mouse is the most popular pointing device. It has two mouse
buttons called the left and the right button and scroll wheel.
It helps us to draw pictures and play games on a computer.
3. Microphone :
A microphone is a device that is used to make sounds louder
or to record them. It is all known as mic.

Output Devices
Output Devices give us the results of our work done.
Some of the output devices are :
1. Monitor :
A monitor looks like a television screen. It displays the work that
we do on a computer. We can watch movies, cartoons and
pictures on the monitor.

2. Speakers :
We use a computer to listen to music, watch cartoons or play
games. To listen to any sounds or music, we need to connect
speakers to the computer.
3. Printer :
A printer is a machine that can be connected to a computer. It is
used to print text, pictures, books etc.
