Telangana tops in highest number of ODF villages

सबसे ज्यादा ओडीएफ गाांव ां में ते लांगाना अव्वल

 Telangana stood first in the country in the list of the highest number of
open defecation free (ODF Plus) villages under the Swachh Bharat
Mission (Grameen) Phase-II programme till December 31, 2021.
 स्वच्छ भारत मिशन (ग्रािीण) चरण- II कार्यक्रि के तहत 31 मिसंबर, 2021 तक सबसे
अमिक खुले िें शौच िुक्त (ओडीएफ प्लस) गां व ं की सूची िें तेलंगाना िे श िें पहले स्थान पर
था।
 As many as 13,737 out of 14,200 villages in the State are on the ODF Plus
list, which is 96.74%.
 राज्य के 14,200 गां व ं िें से 13,737 गां व ओडीएफ प्लस सूची िें हैं , ज 96.74 फीसिी है ।
 This was followed by Tamil Nadu with 4,432 villages (35.39%) and Karnataka
with 1,511 villages (5.59%).

Reserve Bank of India releases framework on offline digital payments

भारतीय ररजवम बैंक ने ऑफलाइन मडमजटल भुगतान पर रूपरे खा जारी की
  The Reserve Bank of India released a framework to enable small value
digital payments in offline mode using cards, wallets, and mobile devices.
 भारतीर् ररजवय बैंक ने काडय , वॉले ट और ि बाइल उपकरण ं का उपर् ग करके ऑफ़लाइन
ि ड िें छ टे िूल्य के मडमजटल भुगतान क सक्षि करने के मलए एक रूपरे खा जारी की।
 As per the new rules payment system operators will be able to allow offline
payments in face-to-face mode only.
 नए मनर्ि ं के अनुसार भुगतान प्रणाली ऑपरे टर केवल आिने-सािने ि ड िें ऑफ़लाइन
भुगतान की अनुिमत िे सकेंगे।
 Such payments that will happen without the use of the internet or the telecom
network will be capped at ₹200 per transaction.

1- RBI's new rules on interchange fee

 The Reserve Bank of India's new rules on raising interchange fee and
making bulk payment facility available on all days of the week came into
effect from August 1, 2021.

के भारतीर् ररजवय बैंक के नए मनर्ि 1 अगस्त, 2021 से लागू ह गए हैं ।
 The Reserve Bank of India has raised the interchange fee for financial
transactions from Rs 15 to Rs 17 to help banks meet the costs of ATM
deployment and maintenance.
 भारतीर् ररजवय बैंक ने बैंक ं क एटीएि की तै नाती और रखरखाव की लागत क पूरा करने
िें ििि करने के मलए मवत्तीर् ले निे न के मलए इं टरचेंज शुल्क 15 रुपर्े से बढाकर 17 रुपर्े

 The interchange fee for non-financial transactions has also been
increased from Rs 5 to Rs 6.

2- RBI raises limit for collateral free loans to SHG to Rs 20 lakhs

 The Reserve Bank of India has raised the limit for collateral free loans to
Self-Help Groups (SHG) under the DAY-NRLM (Deendayal Antyodaya
Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission) from Rs 10 lakhs to Rs 20
Lakhs.

 China has launched 24th Gaofen-series Earth-observation satellite on a
Long March 4C carrier rocket from Taiyuan Satellite Launch Center in
Shanxi province.
 ISRO is set to launch INS-2B satellite of Bhutan in December 2021

COVID-19 termed ‘IHU’.

 India has invited a total of 46 friendly foreign countries to participate in the

multinational naval exercise Milan in Visakhapatnam, scheduled from

 The theme of this 11th edition of exercise Milan is camaraderie, cohesion
and collaboration.

 This exercise was initiated in 1995 and held biennially and conducted with
friendly navies.

 Reliance New Energy Solar Ltd (RNESL) has become Wilson Renewable
Energy Ltd (SWREL) promoter after it paid a balance of Rs 1,583 crore for
the acquisition of 25.90% equity in it.

 With this transaction, RNESL and other group firms together hold over 40%
