RBI lays down eligibility norms for entities tapping credit bureau data

 RBI has laid down eligibility norms for entities tapping into data from credit
information companies (CICs) under Credit Information Companies
(Amendment) Regulations, 2021.
 RBI िे क्रेलडट सूचिा कोंपलियोों (सोंशोिि) लिलियम, 2021 के तहत क्रेलडट सूचिा कोंपलियोों
(CIC) के डे टा का दोहि करिे िाली सोंस्थाओों के ललए पािता मािदों ड लििाा ररत लकए हैं ।
 Under this, the company must be owned-controlled by resident Indian
citizens to become a specified user with the credit bureau, amid reports of
lending apps with Chinese links operating in India.
 इसके तहत, भारत में चीिी ललों क के साथ उिार दे िे िाले ऐप्स की ररपोटा के बीच, क्रेलडट ब्यूरो

 Reserve Bank of India's new rules on raising interchange fee and making
bulk payment facility available on all days of the week came into effect from
August 1, 2021:raised the interchange fee for financial transactions from
Rs 15 to Rs 17 & The interchange fee for non-financial transactions has
also been increased from Rs 5 to Rs 6.
 The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has revised upwards retail inflation
projection for FY 22 to 5.7 percent from 5.1 per cent, even as it retained

FM releases monthly Post Devolution Revenue Deficit Grant to 17 States

एिएम िे 17 राज्ों को मालसक पोस्ट लडवोल्यूशि रे वेन्यू डे लिलसट ग्रांट जारी लकया

 The Finance Minister has released a monthly Post Devolution Revenue

Deficit (PDRD) Grant of Rs 9,871 crore to 17 States.
 लित्त मोंिी िे 17 राज्ोों को 9,871 करोड़ रुपये का मालसक पोस्ट लडिोल्यूशि रे िेन्यू डे लफलसट
(पीडीआरडी) अिुदाि जारी लकया है ।
 The grants are released to the States as per the recommendations of the
Fifteenth Finance Commission to meet the gap in Revenue Accounts of
the States post devolution.
 राज्ोों के राजस्व खातोों में अोंतर को पूरा करिे के ललए पोंद्रहिें लित्त आयोग की लसफाररशोों के
अिुसार राज्ोों को अिुदाि जारी लकया जाता है ।
  PDGD Grants are provided under Article 275 of the Constitution.
 पीडीजीडी अिुदाि सोंलििाि के अिुच्छेद 275 के तहत प्रदाि लकया जाता है ।
 Eligibility of States to receive this grant and quantum of grant was decided
by Commission.
 इस अिुदाि को प्राप्त करिे के ललए राज्ोों की पािता और अिुदाि की मािा आयोग द्वारा तय

Indian economy estimated to grow at 9.2 pc in 2021-22 by National Statistical

राष्ट्रीय सांख्यिकी कायािलय (NSO) द्वारा 2021-22 में भारतीय अथिव्यवस्था के 9.2 प्रलतशत
बढ़िे का अिुमाि
  The National Statistical Office (NSO) said that the Indian economy is
estimated to grow at 9.2 per cent in 2021-22, as against a contraction of 7.3
per cent in the previous fiscal, mainly due to improvement in the performance
of agriculture and manufacturing sectors.
 राष्ट्रीय साों क्किकी कायाा लय (एिएसओ) िे कहा लक भारतीय अथा व्यिस्था के 2021-22 में 9.2
प्रलतशत की दर से बढिे का अिुमाि है , जबलक लपछले लित्त िषा में इसमें 7.3 प्रलतशत का
सोंकुचि था, लजसका मुि कारण कृलष और लिलिमाा ण िेिोों के प्रदशाि में सुिार था। .
 As per a NSO report, Releasing the first advance estimates of National
Income for 2021-22, "The growth in real GDP during 2021-22 is estimated at
9.2 percent as compared to the contraction of 7.3 per cent in 2020-21."
 एिएसओ की ररपोटा के अिुसार, 2021-22 के ललए राष्ट्रीय आय का पहला अलग्रम अिुमाि

Reliance Jio rolls out the UPI Autopay for both prepaid and postpaid users

 Reliance Jio has become the first telecom major in the industry to roll out
the UPI Autopay facility for both prepaid and postpaid users in partnership
with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI).
 ररलायोंस लजयो भारतीय राष्ट्रीय भुगताि लिगम (एिपीसीआई) के साथ साझे दारी में प्रीपेड और
पोस्टपेड दोिोों उपयोगकताा ओों के ललए यूपीआई ऑटोपे सुलििा शु रू करिे िाला उद्योग का

 Jio customers can now use the MyJio application to automatically for their
tariff plans and use the touch-free auto-recharge and bill payment feature.
  Jio ग्राहक अब MyJio एक्किकेशि का उपयोग अपिे टै ररफ िाि के ललए स्वचाललत रूप से
कर सकते हैं और टच-फ्री ऑटो-ररचाजा और लबल भुगताि सुलििा का उपयोग कर सकते हैं ।
 Jio users will no longer need to remember their recharge renewal date or bill
payment date and perform manual payments.
 Jio यूजसा को अब अपिे ररचाजा ररन्यू अल की तारीख या लबल भुगताि की तारीख याद रखिे
और मैन्युअल भुगताि करिे की आिश्यकता िहीों होगी।

completed seven years of distributing and selling LED lights on January
05, 2022.
 लिद् युत मोंिालय के प्रमुख उजाला कायाक्रम िे 05 जििरी, 2022 को एलईडी लाइटोों के
लितरण और लबक्री के सात साल सफलतापूिाक पूरे कर ललए हैं ।
 Unnat Jyoti by Affordable LEDs for All (UJALA) scheme was launched by
Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi on January 05, 2015.
 सभी के ललए सस्ती एलईडी द्वारा उन्नत ज्ोलत (उजाला) योजिा 05 जििरी, 2015 को भारत
के प्रिाि मोंिी श्री िरें द्र मोदी द्वारा शु रू की गई थी।
  More than 36.78 crore LEDs have been distributed across the country under
the scheme till date, which has saved 47,778 million units of electricity per
annum.
 इस योजिा के तहत अब तक दे श भर में 36.78 करोड़ से अलिक एलईडी लितररत लकए गए
हैं , लजससे प्रलत िषा 47,778 लमललयि यूलिट लबजली की बचत हुई है ।

National Cancer Institute (CNCI) in Kolkata via video conferencing.

 It has been built at a cost of over Rs 530 crores, out of which around Rs 400
crores have been provided by the Union govt and rest by West Bengal
govt, in the ratio of 75:25.
 इसे 530 करोड़ रुपये से अलिक की लागत से बिाया गया है , लजसमें से लगभग 400 करोड़
रुपये केंद्र सरकार द्वारा और बाकी पलिम बोंगाल सरकार द्वारा 75:25 के अिुपात में प्रदाि

ICAR-SBI launches tribal intervention project in Anamalai Tiger Reserve

  ICAR–Sugarcane Breeding Institute (ICAR-SBI), Coimbatore in
collaboration with Anamalai Tiger Reserve has conducted a campaign on
‘knowledge empowerment of tribals’ and launched its Scheduled Tribe
Component (STC) project at Attakatti.
 आईसीएआर-गन्ना प्रजिि सोंस्थाि (आईसीएआर-एसबीआई), कोयोंबटू र िे अिामलाई टाइगर
ररजिा के सहयोग से 'आलदिालसयोों के ज्ञाि सशक्कक्तकरण' पर एक अलभयाि चलाया है और
अट्टाकट्टी में अपिी अिुसूलचत जिजालत घटक (एसटीसी) पररयोजिा शुरू की है ।

systematic need assessment by conduct of Focus groups among two tribes
‘Malasar’ and ‘Malai malasar’ tribes belonging to Nagaroothu, Old
Sarkarpathy, Chinnarpathy.

एिजी कॉररडोर (GEC) चरण- II योजिा को मोंजूरी दे दी है ।

Organisation (SCO) member states.
 Nepal and Indian Army personnel will participate in the 15th edition of the
two-week joint military exercise SURYA KIRAN from September 20, 2021.
 The India Navy and the Germany Navy carried out a joint exercise in the
Gulf of Aden near Yemen in the Indian Ocean leg of Indo-Pacific Deployment

 GAIL India has acquired an equity stake of 26% in ONGC Tripura Power
Company (OTPC), which owns and operates a 726.6 MW gas-based
combined cycle power plant in Palatana, Tripura.

 This stake has been acquired from IL&FS Group Companies, namely
IL&FS Energy Development Company and IL&FS Financial Services.

 Apart from the 26% equity acquired by GAIL from IL&FS Group, the rest of
the equity is held by Oil and Natural Gas Company (50%), Government of
Tripura (0.50%) and India Infrastructure Fund GIP II (23.50%).

 Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath has announced 50% rebate in power

bills of private tube wells used by farmers in the state with effect from
January 2022.
 उत्तर प्रदे श के मुिमोंिी योगी आलदत्यिाथ िे जििरी 2022 से राज् में लकसािोों द्वारा उपयोग
लकए जािे िाले लिजी िलकूपोों के लबजली लबलोों में 50% छूट की घोषणा की है ।
  It covers the metered, unmetered, energy efficient and private tube wells
of the farmers in rural areas and metered tube wells in urban areas.
 इसमें ग्रामीण िेिोों के लकसािोों के मीटर िाले, लबिा मीटर िाले, ऊजाा कुशल और लिजी
िलकूप और शहरी िेिोों में मीटर िाले िलकूप शालमल हैं ।
 It will benefit around 13 lakh farmers of the state directly.
 इससे राज् के करीब 13 लाख लकसािोों को सीिा फायदा होगा।
 According to the proposed new rates, now consumers in rural areas will have
to pay Re 1 per unit.
 प्रस्तालित िई दरोों के मुतालबक अब ग्रामीण िेि के उपभोक्ताओों को एक रुपये प्रलत यूलिट का
