Module 4: Idea Development & Startup Methodology

Idea Development and Startup methods teach you how to drive a startup-how to steer, when to
turn, and when to persevere-and grow a business with maximum acceleration. So, the following
event is arranged to help students to learn different ideas and methods.

On 12th September at 02:00 pm GMT i.e,7:00 pm (GMT +5), IEEE PES Student Branch and
IEEE WIE Affinity Group, UET Taxila organized the 4th Module under STEM 1.0 on “Idea
Development & Startup Methodology.”

The event began with a short introduction of our respected speaker, Mr. Hamid Saeed (Founder
& CEO at ShahRuh Technologies) who then presented on the topic. Initially, he started his
presentation by emphasizing on the importance of Idea Development and Startup Methodology.
He further explained that we should make people economically strong and gave them ideas how
they can start their work. Then, he discussed about the networking and collaboration. He said
that we should discuss our ideas with other instead of hiding them. After that, he explained the
importance of teamwork. He said that perfection of team is not important. You just need a team
and it’s up to you to make it perfect. Because after collaborating with people you came to know
how it is beneficial for your startup. He said that the most important thing for your startup is that
you trust yourself with faith in Allah. He emphasized on it by quoting different Quranic verses
and poems.

In the end, the session was concluded with a short Question/Answer session and all the queries
of participants were entertained. More than 100 participants were present in the event out of
which 35 were IEEE Members. The event proved to be a true success based on the feedback of
more than 100 students who attended and found it to be both, practical and insightful.
