About the Crime:
This alert gives notice to residents/citizens of the 008th District (Chicago Lawn) of an
increase in Robbery related incidents during the month of January. In these
incidents, the offender(s), armed with a firearm, approach the victims and demands
property. These incidents have occurred in the general geographical locations listed
below:

Incident times and locations:

4900 Block of S. Keeler on January 11, 2022 at approximately 07:15 A.M.
4000 Block of W. 49th Street on January 16, 2022 at approximately 06:07 A.M.
4900 Block of S. Keeler on January 16, 2022 at approximately 06:10 A.M.
4500 Block of S. Keeler on January 16, 2022 at approximately 06:15 A.M.

Offender Description:
 Male/White- Hispanic, 20 to 30 years of age, 5'04 to 6'00, 140 lbs
 Male/White- Hispanic, 20 to 30 years of age, 5'04 to 6'00, 140 lbs

What you can do:

 Always be aware of your surroundings.
 Report suspicious activity immediately.
 If you are confronted by an assailant, remain calm.
 Remember any unique physical characteristics (scars, limp, acne, teeth, etc.).
 Never pursue a fleeing assailant; provide the information to the police.
 If approached by a witness to the incident, request contact information.
 Dial 9-1-1 immediately and remain on scene when possible.

Esta alerta notifica a los residentes/ciudadanos del distrito 008 ( Chicago Lawn) de
un aumento en los incidentes relacionados con robos durante el mes de enero. En
estos incidentes, el o los delincuentes, armados con un arma de fuego, se acercan
a las víctimas y exigen bienes. Estos incidentes han ocurrido en las ubicaciones
geográficas generales que se enumeran a continuación:

Horas y lugares del incidente:

4900 Block of S. Keeler el 11 de enero de 2022 aproximadamente a las 07:15 a. m.
4000 Block of W. 49th Street el 16 de enero de 2022 aproximadamente a las 06:07
a.m.
4900 Block of S. Keeler el 16 de enero de 2022 aproximadamente a las 06:10 a. m.
4500 Block of S. Keeler el 16 de enero de 2022 aproximadamente a las 06:15 a. m.

Descripción del delincuente:

 Masculino/Blanco- Hispano, 20 a 30 años de edad, 5'04 a 6'00, 140 lbs
