Equilibrium law:-

----------------
two forces can be in equilibrium only if they are equal in magnitude, opposite in
direction and collinear in action

by using parallogram law a single fors=ce R can be resolved into two components A
and B

Law of super imposition

-----------------------
the action of a given system of forces on a rigid body will no way be changed if we
add or subtract froom them
another system of forces in equilibrium

eouilibrium of concurrent forces in a plane :-

_------------------------------------------
if a body is knowm to be in equilibrium is acted upon by seversl concurrent,
coplaner force then
these forces when added must form a close polygon

RIgid body:-
-----------
a rigid body id definrd as a definite quantity of matter the parts of which are
fixed in position relative/related
to each other
physical bobies are never actualy plane but deform slightly under the action of the
load. if the deformation is negligibe
is as compayred to its size then it is termed as Rigid body.

Forces:-
-------
force may be defined as any action that tends to change the state of rest or motion
of a body to which
it is applied

The three Quantities are required to define a force are called its specification or
characterstics :-
the characterstics of the force are :- magnitude, direction, point of action

Line of action of force:-

------------------------
the direction of a force is the direction along a straight line through its point
of application in which
the force tends to move the body when force is applied. this line is called Line of
action of force
