Entrepreneurship Individual Assignment

Entrepreneurial Behaviour
Qualities such as innovations, creativity, being responsible, respecting values & ethics of an
organisation, possessing efficient organisational skills etc. are all included under the broad
umbrella of entrepreneurial behaviour.
According to me, the entrepreneurial skills which I possess and the reason behind them are
as follows:

 Using feedback constructively to introspect myself: I always try to gather


feedback with respect to the efficiency of any particular task that I perform so that I
can use the feedback to rectify my mistakes. I feel that I possess this particular skill
since I have the urge to keep improving and become a better version of myself which
can be achieved by looking back upon my actions and introspecting myself.

 Positive mindset: I always try my best to keep a positive mindset since I believe that
without being positive it is not possible for me to successfully complete difficult tasks
and efficiently carry them out. Being positive helps me to always stay focused on the
task at hand.

 Time management: One of the most important characteristics, for an entrepreneur


and also of an MBA student like me, which facilitates the perfect implementation and
completion of an activity is that of time management. It helps us to organise and
prioritise our daily activities and helps us to ensure that we are able to finish our
tasks on time and with utmost precision & performance.

 Leader: Along with time management, possessing effective leadership skills is also
vital for entrepreneurs and MBA students. My time as the captain of my football team
has helped me to gain these leadership skills.

Graphic designing etc. are vital in the corporate world and are
therefore, among the most sought-after ones in the entire tech
industry.

 Only learning is not enough and therefore, continuously revisiting what
we have learnt and at the same time, constantly upskilling is vital to
survive in the corporate world.
 We can upgrade our pre-existing skills by gaining more knowledge on
related topics through online learning sites such as Coursera, Udemy
etc. which will help us to broaden our base.

o Skills that are important to have a successful managerial career


 Skills such as flexibility, work ethic, teamwork, problem solving, critical
thinking, interpersonal skills etc. are vital to build a successful
managerial career.

 We should further improve upon our pre-existing skills and gain new
ones at the same time.
 We can do this by introspecting & analysing our performances and
also by observing the behaviour & performances of others so as to
incorporate their good qualities in ourselves and learn from our
peers/acquaintances.
 Taking feedback from others is also extremely helpful as it helps us to
quickly identify & rectify our mistakes and thereby, improve at a faster
rate.

 Skills such as leadership skills, communication skills, efficient time
management skills, financial management skills, relationship building
skills etc. are vital to build a successful managerial career.

 We should further improve upon our pre-existing skills and gain new
ones at the same time.
 We can do this by strengthening our decision-making processes,
building self-awareness, regularly checking in with the employees
outside of their annual performance reviews and allotting some time
for reflection in our daily schedule no matter how hectic it is.
 Taking feedback from our employees, acquaintances and superiors is
also extremely helpful in this case also.
