SUBJECT: How the website evolved
DATE: the 25th of January

INTRODUCTION
The aim of this report is to inform the Principal whether the website met its aims and to justify if the
website should continue to receive financial support.

BACK STORY
Last year the committee asked for a substantial sum of money to start a website dedicated to
informing students about local events, to give information about college clubs and also a section
where reviews of products that may be of interest to the students could be featured.

THE ACTUAL WEBSITE

Today, the website is still online and updated almost weekly. Each section is being moderated by one
or more students. The sections can also be modified by others, but firstly they must talk to the
moderator.
The local events section is the most visited one of the website. It is very informative, contributing a
lot to the social life each student has. All types of events are being advertised in this section, starting
with cultural events, volunteering events and ending with parties.
All of the college clubs have a lot more members now thanks to the website. This is a great
improvement because now school related activities have increased in popularity.
Product reviews are also an important reason why the website cannot be shutdown. This section is
mostly visited by students that want to buy school supplies or by doubtful students regarding
electronics.

CONCLUSION
To sum up, the site gives a blink into how a student’s life looks like. All the reasons stated above are
more than enough to show that the website has reached its aim, this is why I strongly believe that it
should be still funded.
