Recently, a new planet has been found in a study done by

astronomers. The study was published in the January 2022 edition
of the Journal of Astronomy and Astrophysics. The new exoplanet
looks like a football rather than a normal sphere shape. This planet
has been named WASP-103B and is believed to be a 'hot Jupiter'.

Information about the planet WASP-103b:

It is located in the constellation of Hercules, which is about 1800

light-years away from the Solar System.

It is located more than 1000 light-years away from Earth.

It orbits its parent star on the same Earth day, the inner part of this
planet is similar to Jupiter.
A parameter called the 'love number' provides information on the
mass distribution within the WASP-103b star.

Let us tell you that this scale is named after the British
mathematician Augustus E.H. Named after Love.
