countries.

As a citizen of the Philippine republic. I envisage the Philippine as Asian and third world country
in the next 20 years, with our country designated as an advanced, more developed, and
economically developed country. And our country enjoys that sovereignty, as well as a fast-
growing economy and cutting-edge technological infrastructure, as well as a broad industrial
and service sector. Furthermore, as a citizen of Philippine republic in the next 20 years we can
usually have access to high quality health care and higher education. Our country will can raise
its average income an improve standard of living.

Like the Americas, Asia consists of a large number of countries. Asia countries do not share
common historical or racial heritage. They are totally indigenous, without overwhelming
European influence that shaped Latin America. Each country has different set of social factors
that describe the political and social spectrum. Latin American’s colonial experience was one of
Iberian mineral exploitation, Christian religious domination and racial extermination. Asia was
colonized by a wider variety of European powers, particularly England, France, Holland, Spain,
and Portugal. With the exception of the Philippines, proselytizing was kept to a minimum in
Asia. Thailand, like Mexico and Turkey, is a light industrial powerhouse. Indonesia, like Brazil
has massive continent packed with commodities. The twin may be the Philippines. It has been
unable to properly develop its natural resource base or manufacturing capabilities as a failed
economy.
