PRODUCT DESCRIPTION 

Sawdust is wood fiber, sized and screened to remove chips and bark that could plug jets or down hole 
directional equipment. All Advantage Drilling Fluids sawdust is created after the kiln drying of wood, so 
it can absorb moisture and swell to help plug loss zones.

PACKAGING 
Sawdust is available in 20# reinforced plastic sacks. 

MIXING/TREATMENT 
Sawdust can be mixed  through the hopper.  Large amounts can be mixed directly into the active system 
with adequate agitation from a gun line or pit agitator.  As a preventative treatment, mix 5‐35 ppb. For 
LCM pills mix 10‐50 ppb.  Solids control equipment and shakers will need to be by‐passed to retain 
Sawdust in the active system.                            

HANDLING 
Please read MSDS carefully. Use dust mask or respirator when mixing.
