Morning Prayer

Lord, we thank you for another day we can spend with our family, friends, and teachers. We give you all that
we are this day. Help us put an end to our weariness in times that we feel alone and exhausted so that we may
be inspired with what we will do. May we always find solace in your promise that you will always be with us
especially in the course if suffering. We especially pray for those that have been on the edge, those that have
been robbed of their rights. We pray for a better tomorrow, that love may prevail amidst all the evil present in
this world, that the evil that once was good, may repent and change for the better. May we have the courage to
love others without fear of rejection, just as Jesus loved us. May the Holy Spirit guide us to the footsteps of
Christ, with much love and understanding, that we may be able to realize that we must be able to step away
from our comfortable lives to reach out to people in need. Amen.

Prayers of the Faithful

For every intention, let our response be: Lord, hear our prayer

For the Church, that she may continue to prosper in the loving grace and salvation offered by God and that she
may respond boldly to the Holy Spirit's call to act together with the faithful community to end the injustices in
our society, we pray

For the world that is experiencing discord and disharmony, may each of us learn to plunge into those cold
waters, where challenges and obstacles are present, with the confidence that we will rise again, made stronger
and purer by the grace of the Father, we pray

For the government leaders, that they may lead their constituents to the ideal life that God has for us and that
they may uphold what is right and just in our society, we pray

For those who are afflicted, especially the poor, refugees and marginalized, may they be able to realize the shed
of light that God has given in times of trial, that He won't let them continuously experience the pain that they
have now and that they may find welcome and comfort in our communities, we pray

For the whole community, that we may respond to the call of help and request of our fellow neighbors with a
cognition that it is the voice of God, imploring us to step into an important mission in His plan for us, we pray

In silence, we pray for our personal intentions (pause), we pray
