Balinese dance is one of the coolest events that you must see and watch when you go and vacation in
Bali. Almost all Balinese dances have a religious meaning. Based on the information we read from
Wikipedia since the 1950s, by starting to develop tourism in Bali, Balinese dances which are usually
performed for some traditional ceremonies and Hinduism in Bali, began to be widely displayed in non-
religious activities that have been held in Bali. modication.

Bali has always amazed many people, starting from the beaches, amazing waterfalls, buildings and
temples that are still standing today. Bali is also very famous for its traditional culture that still exists
today. when we talk about Bali, it can't be separated from what is called Balinese Traditional Dance.

Balinese dancers express their expressions and stories through body movements, nger movements,
head tilts and sharp eye movements left and right. Dancing Merkea usually have learned to dance since
childhood (small), while doing other activities they have been practicing for years and continue to
perfect their dance movements and skills.

There are several types of Balinese Dance. Perhaps many of you often hear about the Balinese Kecak

If you go to Ubud, you will nd more Balinese dances in Ubud. Ubud is still a very beautiful place and
one of the best places to watch Balinese Traditional Dance performances.

I myself rarely see Balinese dances directly, if I'm not mistaken during my stay in Bali, I only watched
Balinese dance performances twice. The rst was at GWK (Garuda Wisnu Kencana) and the second was
at Uluwatu, and even then, I watched it when I took my friend from Arabia. So I can say I don't know for
sure which are the best places to watch Balinese dance performances, what I know is that the best
Balinese dance can be seen in Uluwatu and at Istina Ubud, and it's phenomenal!

The movements of Balinese dancers adjust to the rhythm of the music being played. There is a religious
impression, Beautiful and also amazing for most people who watch it. I personally don't really like
dances so I can say I rarely watch dances if I don't have to because of the situation, time and conditions.
